From LIS airport to Aveiro by car (from south) – Reach Aveiro through A1 highway, Drive via A1 · 248 km, 2 h 10 min. Toll road. Reach to Aveiro through A17 highway, which is linked to A8 highway from Lisbon. Drive via A17 and A8 · 254 km, 2 h 10 min. Toll road.

From SPAIN to Aveiro by car (from east) – The city is connected to highway number 25 (A25) and Autovía de Castilla / A-62 highway, that comes from Spain through Salamanca. Drive via A25 and Autovía de Castilla / A-62 · 308 km, 2 h 58 min. Toll road.

From OPO airport to Aveiro by train – Take the Underground (http://www.metrodoporto.pt/en/) in the airport to Estação de Campanhã (http://www.cp.pt), and then take the train to Aveiro (train time about 30 minutes using Alfa train).

From LIS airport to Aveiro by train – Take the Underground (http://www.metrolisboa.pt/eng/) in the airport to Estação do Oriente (http://www.cp.pt), and then take the train to Aveiro (train time about 2 hours using Alfa train).

By bus – There are coaches that connect Aveiro to a lot of Portuguese cities and also cities in Spain.
