Interests in the WPT Area

Wireless Power Transfer is an emerging and challenging field, raising a wide interest among researchers and industries.

Such a topic covers several areas of interest, from RFID, to battery free devices, wireless communications, and far-field wireless powering.

Promoting research in the field of WPT may lead to significant advancements. For the improvement of the efficiency WPT systems, novel circuit solutions have to be explored. The role of materials and technologies is also fundamental, with a view to developing devices with features of low cost and ease of integration.

Our interest in the Wireless Power Transmission Area is mainly in the development of novel Technologies in the WPT system components. In particular, our focus is in exploring efficient antenna layouts, cheap and easy to integrate in the WPT system. A further focus is in the optimization of the electronics of the system for an enhancing of the overall efficiency.
